Meet the team

Contact

Now based in six offices across Lincolnshire and the Humber region, our teams are perfectly placed to work closely with you. Please don't hesitate to get in touch.

For over 85 years, we have demonstrated our commitment to making a positive impact on society and the environment.

This includes charity work, education, promoting professional development and aspirations within our youth, and empowering our staff to support our drive for reducing our environmental impact.

Our core values drive the focus of our CSR.

  • Caring
  • Supportive
  • Forward thinking
  • Knowledgeable

Our People

Our people, their knowledge, and their expertise are the backbone of our business.

We therefore place great emphasis on training, development and knowledge building, supporting our staff through all stages of their careers.

Our philosophy is to nurture and grow talent from within which has seen nearly all our partners’ progress through the practice from training contracts.

We always aim to recruit locally and offer a number of trainee programmes for professional and support roles within the practice.

As an ethical firm, we believe in treating our staff fairly and looking after their health and wellbeing.

Charity and Community

We have maintained a local office presence rather than centralising our resources which keeps us at the heart of the communities in which we operate.

We regularly sponsor or hold events to raise money for a number of local charitable causes and encourage our staff to take part in fundraising activities.

In supporting our communities, staff and partners contribute their professional expertise, by giving their time to community organisations on a voluntary basis.

We are also involved in initiatives linked to education and have helped a number of students by providing them with work experience opportunities and to train with our practice.

Our Charity Trust - The Bradbury Foundation

This year we have launched The Bradbury Foundation.

The Bradbury Foundation was founded in 2024 by Forrester Boyd Chartered Accountants in memory of partner Lee Bradbury who sadly passed away on 12 August 2022 at the youthful age of 40. He was well-known and respected by so many people, both in a professional and a personal capacity. Lee was a larger-than-life character with a unique sense of humour that endeared him to all who came into contact with him.

At The Bradbury Foundation, we are passionate about empowering communities across Lincolnshire and the East Riding of Yorkshire. Through our unwavering dedication to providing financial support, we champion local charities, not-for-profit organisations, and charitable community projects that spark positive change and sustainable development. By focusing our efforts on initiatives that enhance social welfare and well-being, we don't just fund projects — we're fuelling a movement. Join us in our mission to be a catalyst for transformation and help us make a meaningful impact where it matters most.

Forrester Boyd in the community...

Nuffield Academy

Forrester Boyd and Williamsons Solicitors are delighted to announce the sponsorship of a new three-year programme at Nuffield Tennis Academy in Hull, East Riding.

As a Lawn Tennis Association (LTA) accredited performance centre, the academy offers both excellent facilities and experienced coaches who provide a junior programme which is recognised as being one of the best in the country with multiple international players emanating from the centre.

The sponsorship of the three-year programme will enable coaches at the tennis academy to deliver free tennis coaching sessions to Key Stage 1 pupils across the region of Hull and East Riding.

Operation Phoenix

The Cleethorpes Buck Beck Beach Bench now boasts a meaningful addition, courtesy of Forrester Boyd.

A commemorative plaque, paying homage to the bench's original founders, was recently revealed on Cleethorpes beach. The plaque serves as a testament to the remarkable community spirit demonstrated during Operation Phoenix which saw a huge effort to rebuild the bench following a fire in May.

The shield features a phoenix rising from the flames, symbolising resilience, alongside a plaque commemorating the bench's restoration.

Charity Golf Day

Forrester Boyd embarked upon a fundraising challenge following the passing of Lee, wanting to raise money for the British Heart Foundation in his memory. They decided to host a charity golf day. The event was supported by so many local businesses and with the beautiful summer sun shining, the day could not have gone better. In fact, Forrester Boyd were blown away to reveal they had managed to raise an amazing £7500.

More than one hundred golfers took part in the day with many from professional service firms from the Lincolnshire and East Riding of Yorkshire areas. The day was supported by tee sponsors and a raffle was hosted thanks to donations from firms far and wide.

The Environment

We are extremely aware of the impact that we all have on the environment and actively support and promote reducing this as much as we can.

Some of the initiatives we have introduced include:

  • working from home
  • use of video conferencing rather than travel
  • removal of disposable single use plastic coffee cups
  • drive for a paper light office environment
  • energy efficient lighting and heating
  • recycling of waste
  • encouraging car sharing

Our business is passionate about the environment! We have taken steps to reduce our energy consumption, lowering our carbon emissions for our loved local community. As a business we have invested in LED lights. This will make a huge difference to the environment and this is just the start of our sustainable journey.

To help us invest in these energy saving measures we had support from Smart Energy Greater Lincolnshire. Through this we received a grant of £9,469.60 to enable us to make these fantastic changes.

The £8.5 million Smart Energy programme has been part funded by the European Regional Development fund. This is enabling small to medium businesses across the Greater Lincolnshire area invest in energy saving technology.
