The Bradbury Foundation is helping to inspire the next generation of creative talent by awarding a grant to Grimsby-based arts and heritage charity Our Big Picture.
The funding will support a summer holiday workshop and provide materials for the organisation's Young Artists Exhibition, giving children and young people aged between 4 and 19 the opportunity to explore their creativity, develop new artistic skills and showcase their work to the wider community. Our Big Picture is dedicated to making arts and heritage accessible to everyone, delivering inclusive creative programmes that encourage people of all ages to engage with the arts.
The exhibition will celebrate the creativity and imagination of young people from across the region, while the accompanying workshop will provide a welcoming environment where participants can experiment with different artistic techniques, build confidence and express themselves through art.

“We are incredibly proud to be launching the Young Artists Open Exhibition and giving children and young people across North East Lincolnshire the chance to showcase their creativity in a professional gallery.
This year’s theme, ‘Our Town’, invites young artists to share what the area means to them. Their work could be inspired by a favourite local person or place, a well-known building, something they enjoy doing, or a completely reimagined version of the town.
Thanks to the generous support of The Bradbury Foundation, we will also be hosting three free children and family workshops during the summer holidays, with materials and creative guidance provided. This will help make sure that every young person has the same opportunity to create a piece of work and enter the exhibition.
