Corporate Social Responsibility

We're committed to making a positive impact in our local communities.

For 90 years....

We have demonstrated our commitment to making a positive impact on society and the environment.

This includes charity work, education, promoting professional development and aspirations within our youth, and empowering our staff to support our drive for reducing our environmental impact.

Our EPIC values drive the focus of our CSR.

  • Everybody Counts

  • Pro-active

  • Integrity

  • Collaboration

Our People

Our people, their knowledge, and their expertise are the backbone of our business.

We therefore place great emphasis on training, development and knowledge building, supporting our staff through all stages of their careers.

Our philosophy is to nurture and grow talent from within which has seen nearly all our partners progress through the practice from training contracts.

We always aim to recruit locally and offer a number of trainee programmes for professional and support roles within the practice.

As an ethical firm, we believe in treating our staff fairly and looking after their health and wellbeing.

Charity and Community

We have maintained a local office presence rather than centralising our resources which keeps us at the heart of the communities in which we operate.

We regularly sponsor or hold events to raise money for a number of local charitable causes and encourage our staff to take part in fundraising activities.

In supporting our communities, staff and partners contribute their professional expertise, by giving their time to community organisations on a voluntary basis.

We are also involved in initiatives linked to education and have helped a number of students by providing them with work experience opportunities and to train with our practice.

Our Charity - The Bradbury Foundation

The Bradbury Foundation was founded in 2024 in memory of partner Lee Bradbury who sadly passed away on 12 August 2022 at the youthful age of 40. Since its inception we have supported lots of regional projects with grant support. Forrester Boyd raises funds each year through three key fundraising events. Alongside this we have been supported by clients, colleagues and businesses who help us in various ways to raise more money.

At The Bradbury Foundation, we are passionate about empowering communities across Lincolnshire and The East Riding. Through our unwavering dedication to providing financial support, we champion local charities, not-for-profit organisations, and charitable community projects that spark positive change and sustainable development. By focusing our efforts on initiatives that enhance social welfare and well-being, we don't just fund projects — we're fuelling a movement. Join us in our mission to be a catalyst for transformation and help us make a meaningful impact where it matters most.

Our Initiatives

We continue to review our processes and identify further opportunities to reduce our environmental footprint as part of our commitment to responsible business practices. 🌱

1

Flexible and home working

We support flexible and home working where appropriate, helping to reduce commuting journeys and associated carbon emissions.

2

Greater use of video conferencing

We make regular use of video conferencing for internal meetings and client discussions. This reduces the need for unnecessary travel between offices.

3

Encouraging a paper-light working environment

We aim to operate in a paper-light environment by using digital document management systems, electronic signatures and secure online portals.

4

Installing energy-efficient lighting and heating

Our offices use energy-efficient lighting and heating systems designed to reduce energy consumption while maintaining a comfortable working environment for staff and visitors.

5

Recycling office waste wherever possible

Recycling facilities are available throughout our offices and staff are encouraged to recycle materials such as paper, cardboard and plastics wherever possible to reduce waste sent to landfill.

6

Encouraging car sharing among colleagues

Where colleagues are travelling to meetings or the office, car sharing is encouraged where practical.

Green Champions

Reducing Our Carbon Footprint

Our Green Champs work diligently to help the firm reduce its carbon footprint and have a positive impact on the environment. Each office has a dedicated Green Champion, and we are focusing on three main areas of improvement:

1) Reducing Office - Generated CO2 Emissions

2) Docusign - Reducing CO2 from Postage Use

3) Supporting Employees - To Reduce Commuting-Related CO2

Together these initiatives help us take practical steps towards operating more sustainably, while encouraging our people to make environmentally responsible choices in their day-to-day work. By continuing to review and improve these areas, we aim to reduce our overall environmental impact and contribute positively to the communities in which we work.
