What the role involves

A typical day may include:

Providing bookkeeping services for a wide range of clients, including sales, purchase and nominal ledger processing
Completing bank reconciliations
Preparing VAT returns
Supporting clients with accounting software and helping them make the most of it
Communicating with clients and managing their queries with confidence
Preparing clear and useful reports for clients

What you will bring

We would be pleased to hear from you if you have:

Solid experience managing ledgers and completing reconciliations
Confidence with accounting software and a willingness to deepen your knowledge
Strong client service skills with the ability to build trusted relationships
The ability to work independently and meet deadlines
AAT Level 4 (preferred) or equivalent experience within a bookkeeping role

Payroll experience would be an advantage though not essential.

We are looking for someone who is organised, friendly, reliable and keen to learn.
