Forrester Boyd partner Alan Nesbitt is taking part in HMT 2020: The Eighth of Spades - Virtual Ride to raise money for four charities - and you can help him to reach his goal.
In the first two weeks of June, Alan will be riding at least 175 miles on local roads to raise money for Nordoff Robbins, Teenage Cancer Trust, ChildLine and Save the Children.
“Outside of family and work my two great passions are cycling and live music,” said Alan. “Fortunately I've been able to continue cycling, although participation in official events has been off the agenda. Attendance at gigs and festivals has however stopped completely.
“On 11th June this year I was scheduled to drive down to Castle Donnington for Download Festival. Instead, in the first two weeks of June, I will be cycling on my local roads the equivalent of at least the 175 miles distance between London and Castle Donnington to help raise funds for four excellent charities.
“I appreciate that these are hard times for many, but if you can afford anything, however little, it will help. If you can't afford to give then please share as widely as possible.”
The event is being organised by Heavy Metal Truants - find out more about them here.
We all wish Alan the best of luck with his ride!
