Having qualified with Forrester Boyd in 2019 and gaining a range of expertise, I moved to a top 10 firm in Leeds to specialise in Audit.
I have since returned to Forrester Boyd as part of the new Leeds office launch and looking forward to supporting a portfolio of interesting businesses with their annual compliance cycle.
I have experience with a range of businesses from small owner-managed businesses right the way through to large private equity backed corporations. The best thing about working in audit is having the opportunity to understand the individual set of circumstances a business has so I can help support them in a way that works for them.
Interests
I love golf (it’s more love-hate!) and play every week. I like the mental battle and the feeling after hitting that perfect shot, although, on the flip side it can be a one-way ticket to ruin a weekend! I also like music festivals and travelling to see artists play. I went to Glastonbury last year which was one of the best experiences of my life.
If there was one piece of advice you would give your younger self, what would it be?
If you can’t control something, don’t worry about it. If you can control it, go and do something about it.
