In 2018 I joined the firm as a trainee accountant looking to gain my AAT qualification, which I later achieved. Following this, I undertook further studies and qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 2024.
Whilst working at Forrester Boyd, I have been introduced to a wide variety of clients. In recent years, I have been more involved in the Education and Charity sectors which has been great for my development. It has allowed me to meet clients face to face, understand their organisation and build a productive relationship.
I am a keen sportsman, and try my hand at most sports. Recently I have taken up golf and padel and unfortunately progress seems to be very steady. Outside of sport, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends.
If you weren’t an accountant, what would you be?
I would probably be a policeman or detective. As a kid I used to watch a lot of crime dramas with my grandma, one of her favourites was Murder She Wrote so I think this may have had an influence.
