Partner - Agricultural Accountant
I have been with the practice and have dealt with Forrester Boyd’s farming clients at Louth for over 20 years.
During my time with the firm I have built up considerable experience of a diverse range of agricultural issues, concentrating on unincorporated businesses dealing with both accounts and taxation requirements. My client base includes arable, livestock and dairy enterprises, with farms varying in size up to 10,000 acres. I am also involved in the affairs of Trusts and am a member of the Association of Taxation Technicians and our Tax Committee Group.
I am also a member of the Rural Accountancy Group UK consisting of 10 regional firms across the UK specialising in farms and estates. They meet twice a year and communicate throughout the year sharing technical expertise and experience.
Interests
I have a passion for cars and motorbikes, whether it be as a spectator in the sport or taking part. My husband shares my passion which sees us both enjoying the odd road trip in one of our classic vehicles into Europe and beyond.
If you weren’t an accountant, what would you be?
Numbers have always been my passion so I would have entered the banking sector.
