I joined the firm in 2008 after completing my A levels at Cleethorpes 6th Form and went on to qualify as a Chartered Accountant in March 2014.
Early on I found my niche in auditing and I have been managing and signing off audits for around 10 years. I work on a wide variety of audit clients but have a number of subsidiaries of overseas Parents, owner managed business which have grown to exceed audit thresholds and other businesses at the smaller end of the audit market increasingly neglected by bigger audit firms. Alongside this I have a smaller portfolio of non-audit and personal tax clients which I enjoy.
As the firm's Audit Compliance Partner I am also tasked with ensuring we are compliant with the latest ISA’s and ICAEW regulations and driving the focus on audit quality across all of our offices.
Interests
On evenings and weekends I am mainly running around after our toddler and generally I enjoy spending time with the family. I also follow Grimsby Town as a long time season ticket holder and when time allows enjoy getting to gigs to watch live music.
Which three people would you invite to a dinner party?
Difficult to pick just 3! I’ll go for Pep Guardiola (not a City fan but love to pick his brains), Luke Combs (google him) and Christian Bale. I assume our schedules might clash so we’ll put Roger Federer & Jennifer Lawrence on standby.
