Private Clients Tax Partner
I began my career in 2013, training with an independent firm and qualifying as an ACA in 2017. I later moved into a specialist corporate finance and tax advisory LLP, where I helped build and deliver a focused advisory offering, before joining a top 10 firm to further develop its private client advisory services. In 2026, I was appointed Private Client Partner at Forrester Boyd.
My role now is as private client tax specialist, supporting individuals, families, business owners and trustees with tailored tax planning and advice across income tax, capital gains tax, inheritance tax and stamp duty. My approach is objective-led and personal, helping clients to accumulate, shape and grow their wealth in tax-efficient structures, always with their wider family and long-term goals in mind.
I particularly enjoy building long-term relationships with entrepreneurial clients and family enterprises, supporting them through growth, succession and intergenerational planning. I am drawn to the inherent complexity of family and business dynamics and work closely with my clients to provide clear, practical advice that enables them to plan for the future with understanding and confidence.
Away from the office, much of my time is spent ferrying my children to their various social and sporting commitments – you’ll often find me at the side of a football pitch! When I do find a bit of spare time, I enjoy travelling with my family, trying out new restaurants and a spot of retail therapy. If I’m lucky, I might even fit in a gym session or two!
If you weren’t an accountant, what would you be?
If I wasn’t an accountant, I’d probably be an event coordinator — I’ve always been a keen planner and organiser, and I enjoy bringing everything together to create something memorable.
