Martin Barnard

Martin joined Forrester Boyd a year after qualifying in 1983 and became partner in 1990. He is based in the Scunthorpe branch where he is responsible for the day to day running of the office. He still manages to spend the bulk of his day doing what he likes best … dealing with his clients’ affairs. And, it is not just business matters he is able to advise on, Martin also specialises in Financial Services so can offer his clients the full package of financial advice.

Martin’s portfolio includes retail, leisure, farming and even solicitors. But for all his clients his targets are clear, to help them with their forward planning so that things start to happen and they can move closer to their business and financial goals. In an industry where client satisfaction is often not commonplace, for Martin, it’s his favourite part of the job.
