Kiddies Rides (UK) Ltd sold to Consolidated Vending Plc

Consolidated Vending Plc (CV), the operator of photo booths and vending machines for quality miniature toiletries through health clubs, has acquired the entire issued share capital of Kiddies Rides (UK) Ltd (KR).

KR began trading in November 1999 and operates coin-operated rides for children throughout the UK, under agreements with supermarkets, high street retailers, shopping centres and a number of independent site owners. KR has 357 rides available over 169 sites.

KR will provide CV with a new product range, a wider customer base and synergies with CV’s photo booth business as a result of the similarity of locations.

Forrester Boyd Chartered Accountants acted as lead corporate finance advisers to the vendor of Kiddies Rides (UK) Limited. The firm advised the vendor on all financial aspects of the deal, including the structure of the consideration, and on the taxation aspects of the deal. Forrester Boyd’s team was led by Corporate Finance Director Mike Beckett.
