Forrester Boyd, one of the area’s top independent accountancy firms is delighted to announce the appointment of Mike Beckett as a Corporate Finance Director with effect from 5th February 2007.

Mike came to work at the firm’s Grimsby office in 2003 where he joined from Deloitte & Touche, having qualified as a chartered accountant.

Forrester Boyd Corporate Finance offer an extensive range of services to owner managed and private businesses, including mergers and acquisitions, disposals, financial due diligence, management buy-outs, share and business valuations and raising finance.

Managing partner Steve Czornyj said of the appointment “We are delighted to appoint Mike into this role and I’m sure that he will continue to offer clients the high levels of support and service that they require during what can sometimes be complex and time consuming transactions”.

Mike is equally pleased with the move, saying “It is a pleasure and privilege to head up a department in what I consider to be the region's top accountancy firm and I am relishing the challenge of raising the profile of Forrester Boyd Corporate Finance and helping to cement and grow the reputation of the firm as a whole”.

Outside of work Mike divides his time between family, tennis, badminton, the gym and is a keen supporter of Leeds United Football Club and Hull Rugby League Football Club.
