Confused by GDPR?
15th May 2018
The new General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) will come into force towards the end of May 2018. If you watch TV or listen to commercial radio it is likely that you will have seen or heard adverts warning businesses that they will need to comply.
What you won’t have seen or heard is very much by way of guidance on how you can achieve this compliance. Even the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO), the body responsible for overseeing adherence to the new rules has been slow to offer sound practical guidance.
Although we are by no means experts in this area we have gained some useful knowledge by going through the process of ensuring that Forrester Boyd as an organization complies with the new GDPR regulations. Based upon this experience we have prepared a short practical guide to help you and your business avoid running the risk of being penalised for non-compliance. You can find this guide here.
